Full description

This full-day trip takes you out of London to three very different icons of English history. Start at Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and a working royal residence. Then continue across the countryside to Stonehenge, the prehistoric stone circle on Salisbury Plain.

The day ends in Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its honey-coloured Georgian architecture and Roman heritage. You’ll have free time to explore, with the option to visit the Roman Baths. Travel is by comfortable coach with a guide providing commentary between stops.

Itinerary

  1. Depart central London

    Board your coach at the central London meeting point in the morning.

  2. Windsor Castle

    Explore the castle and its State Apartments, subject to royal schedules.

  3. Stonehenge

    Visit the famous stone circle, with time to walk around it and see the visitor centre.

  4. Bath

    Free time in Bath to see the Abbey, Pulteney Bridge and the Royal Crescent, or visit the Roman Baths.

  5. Return to London

    Travel back to central London, arriving in the evening.
