This seven-day package links Rome, Florence and Venice by high-speed train, giving you time to see the headline sights and still wander each city at your own pace. Hotels, train tickets between cities and a selection of guided visits are arranged, so you can focus on the experience rather than logistics.

You’ll explore the Colosseum and the Vatican in Rome, see Michelangelo’s David and the Duomo in Florence, and discover St Mark’s Square and the backstreets of Venice. Free time is built into every day. The exact hotels, visits and prices are confirmed with you when you enquire, based on your dates and preferences.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Rome

    Arrive in Rome and check in to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring Trastevere or the historic centre.

  2. Day 2: Ancient Rome

    Guided tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Afternoon free to see the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain.

  3. Day 3: The Vatican and train to Florence

    Morning guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, then an afternoon high-speed train to Florence.

  4. Day 4: Renaissance Florence

    Guided visit to the Accademia to see Michelangelo's David. Free time for the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo.

  5. Day 5: Florence at leisure

    A free day for the Uffizi, the Oltrarno artisans or an optional Tuscany day trip.

  6. Day 6: Train to Venice
