Full description

This classic evening safari takes you from your Dubai hotel into the red dunes outside the city. An experienced driver takes you dune driving in a 4×4, then stops for sandboarding and sunset photos on the crest of a dune.

At the desert camp, you can take a short camel ride, get henna painted and try Arabic coffee and dates before a barbecue buffet dinner. The evening finishes with entertainment such as a tanoura dance and fire show, before you’re driven back to the city.

Itinerary

  1. Hotel pickup

    Pickup from your hotel in the afternoon for the drive to the desert.

  2. Dune driving

    Around 30–45 minutes of dune driving in a 4x4 with an experienced driver.

  3. Sunset and sandboarding

    Stop on the dunes for sunset photos and a go at sandboarding.

  4. Desert camp

    Camel ride, henna, Arabic coffee and a barbecue buffet dinner.

  5. Shows and return

    Enjoy the evening entertainment, then return to your hotel.
